Join us on March 30th for our first Saturday Makers Market Barn!
We’re excited to announce a brand-new development coming soon to Great Wedlock Farm and Deer Park!
Experience an unforgettable family day out set in over 175 acres of beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. Our red, white and fallow deer are able to freely roam the organic grassland without being restricted to enclosed areas and eat only organic food. This means that the animals choose when to be seen and when to hide away with their young. This means we can’t guarantee what you’ll see each time you visit Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park, but you can be sure it’s in the most natural environment we can create for it.
Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park is a stunning family-owned and run eco-friendly deer park based near the seaside holiday destination of Tenby. We have 150 acres of grassland, gorseland and woodland dedicated to our deer whilst a further 26 acres is kept as a nature reserve around the river Ritec. These diverse habitats are an ideal environment for the local wildlife and all of our animals to thrive.
Going inside the park with the deer is by guided safari tour only. We have different safari tour experiences available; the self-drive 4-seater electric buggy and the 7-seater VIP Guided Safari with an easy-access passenger seat.
For guests using a wheelchair, we have an easy-access wheelchair trailer which is towed behind a buggy driven by one of our expert guides. In addition to the wheelchair, the trailer seats an additional 2 passengers, accommodating a total of 3 passengers.
We also offer special private tours for small groups (up to 7) in our 7-seater VIP Guided Safari vehicle.
All of our safari experiences can be booked at the shop once inside the farm. Our buggy safaris head out into the park at specific times – 11AM, 1PM and 3PM – please arrive at least 45 mins before your desired safari. Our buggy safaris have a limited number of places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Our park is open 7 days a week, with our season running from March to December each year. The rut happens around September/October, and if you’re lucky, you might even see baby deer in June/July!
